Consistent Sunday roast
I've been to Sizzlingpubs a few times for their Sunday roast. This visit, I had the roast beef, and it was just as good as I remembered. The beef was tender, the Yorkshire pudding was huge, and the vegetables were cooked well. My last visit a few months ago, I had the chicken, and that was also good. They're reliable for a decent Sunday meal without having to cook at home. It's why we keep coming back.
Quick burger lunch
Popped in for a quick lunch. Got the cheese and bacon burger with loaded fries. Burger was pretty good, hit the spot. Fries were cheesy and had some bacon bits, so that was a win. Service was friendly enough at the counter. Came out pretty fast too. Easy place to grab a bite if you're not looking for anything fancy.
Breakfast was fine

Good pub food, decent value
I visited Sizzlingpubs last week for their steak night deal. I ordered the 8oz rump steak with chips and a side salad. Family meal out, quick service
We went for lunch and I had the smothered chicken. My husband got the fish and chips. Food came out pretty fast, which was good with kids. My chicken was tasty, but a little dry on the edges. The chips were hot and fresh though. My husband liked his fish, said it wasn't greasy. The table was a bit sticky when we sat down, but nothing major. Good value for a family meal, but they could probably wipe down tables more often.
